Rubber GlueI wish we could fix this  thing  like we did back in preschool:  just a touch of  rubber glue  to keep it safe,  and a little bit of  glitter  to make it pretty once again.   
But the rubber glue  hasn't stuck,  the glitter has peeled away.  We're not in preschool anymore,  my dear,  this is the real world now.  We'll just have to work  together  and fix it for good this time. Rubber Glue

VulnerableThese days, I feel so vulnerable.  Every emotion pierces my brain,  feeling like shards of glass in my hand.  So small, so seemingly-harmless,  yet the slightest movement brings pain.   
I used to feel nothing,  the very picture of apathy.  Now I've dwelled in  the skies of ecstatic joy  and the pits of darkest despair.   
Everything is clearer,  sharper,  softer,  harder.  How I ever lived otherwise, I can't remember. Vulnerable

Nobody SaidNobody said it'd be this easy  to surrender everything and anything.  Nobody told us how simple it could all be,  to let yourself go into the warmth and comfort.   
Nobody said it'd be this hard  to give it all away,  this need for self and one  to instead become "us".   
Nobody said it'd be this beatiful,  how you could light up my world  like stars hung on a Christmas tree,  Desire, belonging, passion, all of this for me.   
Nobody said it'd be this ugly,  how you could shadow my mind  with things I never felt before.  Jealousy, anger, betrayal, all of Nobody Said
